The Gospel calls us as a parish to serve the needs of the poor in our community. The “Window Ministry” is a place where assistance is provided for those in need. The main office in the parish center has a walk up window in which information and services are provided.
Funding is available through the poor box, located in the Church. These funds are used to help provide housing for the Salvation Army and parishioners who need assistance with utility bills. Referrals are made to local agencies for food, clothing, and furnishings.
Another source of funding is the parish health fair. Donations generated through the health fair go to support a fund that is used to assist with prescription medication through the CVS Pharmacy.
Annually, the parish also hosts a yard sale to raise funds for the window ministry. The date varies each year, so contact the parish office or monitor the parish calendar for the specific date.
